Mission

Bendukidze Free Market Center is a Ukrainian think tank created to promote liberty, limited open government and free market through analysis and development of new and modern policy options, introduction of educational programs and direct engagement with decision makers in the government, business and civil society.

co-founders

Oleksandr Danylyuk

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine, the former Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of Ukraine. Mr Danylyuk has five years of experience in reforming Ukraine in senior government roles. Before taking up public service, he worked on strategic consulting at McKinsey&Co and several financial organizations.

Mikheil Saakashvili

The former President of Georgia, currently serving as the Governor of Odessa. His name is associated with radical reforms during his term of office, namely regarding liberalization, deregulation and simplification of provision of government services.

Yuliya Tychkivska

The Vice President for Management Education at Kyiv School of Economics, a world-class academic institution, as well as a leader in economics research and policy consultancy. Yuliya is also a civic activist and the Founder of the Open University of Maidan.

Volodymyr Fedoryn

A leading economic journalist and civic activist, the former Editor of Forbes Ukraine with more than ten-year experience in business media. Volodymyr is the author of the book "Road to Freedom. Dialogues with Kakha Bendukidze" published in Ukrainian, Russian and Georgian, and the co-author of "The Fourth Republic" published in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Prior to joining the Center, Nataliya was a development manager in several organizations. She is a postgraduate researcher at the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies. Nataliya conducted research of the issues of national sovereignty in the globalized world and political identification in the Ukrainian society. She graduated from the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".
